April 26 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s infrastructure ministry said on Friday it has awarded a 1.73 million euro ($1.86 million) contract to local construction firm Papenburg & Adriani Company for the expansion of a road linking the capital Pristina to the nearby town of Gracanice.
The company won in a price-based contest, with their offer being below the the estimated budget of 1.82 million euro, the ministry said in a tender winner’s notice.
Implementation of the project must be completed within a 165-day timeframe, the ministry said in a tender notice in October.
Established in 2003, Papenburg & Adriani Company specialises in civil constructions and production of building materials, according to the country’s business register. It is wholly owned by Kosovan businessman Isen Dervishi.
